15. SMS Terms & Conditions
Program and operator
The Solid Security | Technology SMS/MMS program is operated by Solid Security Services, Inc. These terms apply to conversational text messages sent between Solid Security and employees, customers, authorized site contacts, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and service partners.
Consent and enrollment
You may consent to receive SMS/MMS messages through a website or electronic form, written agreement, employment or contractor onboarding process, direct written or verbal request, or by initiating a text conversation with Solid Security. By opting in, you authorize Solid Security to send messages at the mobile number you provide for the purposes described below. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. The person providing a number represents that they are authorized to use that number and to provide consent.
Types of messages
Messages may include:
- Conversations between employees concerning scheduling, assignments, job coordination, availability, workplace updates, and job-related information or photographs.
- External conversations with existing customers, authorized site contacts, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and service partners concerning requested work.
- Appointment confirmations, schedule changes, technician or contractor arrival information, site-access coordination, job-status updates, service follow-up, requests for information or photographs, and responses to recipient-initiated messages.
The program is intended for conversational and service-related communications. We will not use this registered program to send unsolicited marketing messages or messages based on purchased contact lists.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your relationship with Solid Security and the amount of active service or workplace coordination. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. Solid Security does not charge a separate fee for receiving program messages, but your carrier may impose charges.
Opting out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message. We may also recognize other clear opt-out requests as required by applicable law. After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming that your request was processed. You will no longer receive messages covered by the opt-out unless you later provide new consent. Opting out of SMS/MMS does not prevent necessary communications through other channels.
Help
For assistance, reply HELP, call 770-733-5853, email info@solidst.com, or visit https://solidst.com/. Information about our privacy practices is available on this page at https://solidst.com/privacy-policy/.
Delivery and carrier availability
Message delivery is subject to wireless-carrier networks and is not guaranteed. Delays or failures may occur because of carrier availability, device settings, network conditions, number changes, or other factors outside our control. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages to the extent permitted by law.
MMS and job-related content
The program may permit photographs, videos, or files through MMS. Do not send passwords, alarm codes, payment-card information, protected health information, export-controlled information, or other sensitive or unlawful content by text. Job-related images or communications may be retained with customer, site, employee, contractor, or service records as described in this policy.
No emergency or alarm-dispatch service
SMS/MMS is not monitored as an emergency, alarm-dispatch, central-station, or life-safety reporting channel. Do not use text messaging to report an emergency, active alarm, fire, crime, medical event, or other urgent condition, or to request that a protected system be placed on or removed from test. Call 911 for emergencies and use the designated monitoring or service telephone number for alarm and system-related requests.
Privacy and service providers
Our collection and use of information through the program is governed by this Privacy Policy. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging platform providers and telecommunications carriers may process mobile numbers, message content, and consent or opt-out records solely as necessary to provide and administer messaging services.
Changes to the SMS program or terms
We may modify or discontinue the SMS/MMS program or update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with the revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain new consent.
